My Eyelash Extension Diary, Stylash and London Eyelash Extensions

Stylash Landmark Trinoma

photo from google

I first tried it here at Stylash because it was recommended to me by my future sister-in-law and it was also cheap too. Also Christmas holidays are coming at that time so we just decided to glam a little even though we don't really have plans on going out on Christmas.
They use mink hair for their lashes, they say it not quite synthetic but it seriously feel synthetic. They offer ones that feels like real hair but it is only available if you avail their "Superstar" set and I don't want to look that dramatic since I'm always at home.
After we decided to go for it, we we're asked by the receptionist to fill up a little form, you just have to jot down your name and your contact number. We chose the natural lashes and the longest ones, it cost 800 php, the receptionist says that the process will last 30 to 45 minutes.
We waited for like 15 minutes because the other ladies who does the eyelash extension (could somebody tell me please what they are called) are on a break. So we finally got called, I was the first one to go, they asked me to lie down, the place they are set in was not comfortable at all because there was just a curtain dividing the ones who were having their hair colored and us who were having our lashes done, it was a very busy place and It was seriously cold although they cover you with a blanket from waist to your ankle.
The eyelash lady started putting on tapes under my eyes. It was also very uncomfortable but bearable, she asked me to not open my eyes once we started and so I did. I felt some sting here and there, I heard from others that the process will hurt a little so. I thought that was normal.
After 30 minutes of closing my eyes I was literally half asleep and half awake when she blast my eyes with those rechargeable fans, I asked what was that and she told me that it was for the glue to dried up. It took a while, because the fan she was using was not fully charged so we constantly have to charge it back in. After 5 minutes of drying she just left me with the fan and I also just have to give up because of the constant plugging in and someone else need to use it. I was just left with a sore eye, because if the glue wasn't properly dry yet it will sting your eyes.
When I can finally look properly in the mirror, I actually did love it but it took a while to adjust,  it wasn't heavy at all it's just the fact that you can't touch your lashes and it was really hard to take off your "muta" because it hurt it feels like your tugging your lashes.
My future sister-in-law took a while to finish because it seems like the lady doing her lashes is new because she keeps on making sounds like shes doing it wrong and she keeps on going back and fort on each eye. So, I was thinking this is going to end up bad and thankfully the lady that did mine was I guess a little expert already. When she was finally done, hers was thicker than mine maybe because the one did her lashes keeps making an error, so she keeps on adding more and the lashes on her inner eye wasn't done properly because it wasn't straight at all. I told her we should go back and ask for them to re do but all they did was put more lashes and still it wasn't straight. She told us that when it's rinse it going to be perfect but it didn't happen and the tugging feeling/hurt didn't went away the whole time I had their lashes.

This was taken 3 days after the procedure, I'm sorry for the bad quality image.

I'm sorry I couldn't find a better picture and I did mine at SM Baliwag,
also I got this picture from their facebook page.

I decided to retouch my eyelash extensions here because it was near and 300 php more cheaper than Stylash. Their salon is very quiet compare to the busy atmosphere of Stylash and the people who work their wasn't in a hurry to answer your questions. The lashes they use is very soft almost like human hair so, I was really excited. They told me they only do retouch if the lashes I had was done by them so, they told me they had to take off my previous one and there is a 150 php fee.
I was asked to go inside a room and asked to lie down, they also cover me with a blanket, same procedure was done except I didn't feel any sting or hurt the whole process. It took a little longer because they have to take off my previous one and they use a different tool to dry the glue, it sounds like a pump I wasn't able to see of course just heard and felt it. It wasn't uncomfortable at all because unlike the rechargeable one it don't blast cold air into your face.
When I touched it, it really feels soft and like your own natural lashes the only cons was the natural lashes I chose was really thin, seriously like natural lashes and the retouch is much expensive than Stylash which is 300 php and here at London Eyelash it's 500 php.

Here is another bad quality after picture. Sorry

Thank you again for reading, hope this post help you in your eyelash extension quest.
Peace!
